Dead by Daylight's roster grows a little bigger today, as Behaviour Interactive announced that Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft is joining as a survivor in the hit asymmetrical horror game.
In a press release, Behaviour Interactive confirmed that beginning July 16, those who wish to play as Lara Croft now can do so via the time-limited public test build available on Steam.
"With her experiences and skillset, Lara Croft perfectly embodies the characteristics needed to survive in The Fog and is right at home in the world of Dead by Daylight alongside other iconic characters," Behaviour Interactive wrote. "Though she may be well-prepared for the Trials ahead, in the Entity's twisted world, the future is never promised."
Behaviour Interactive also revealed the three perks that Lara Croft comes equipped with, each one representing her "unwavering tenacity, wealth of survival expertise, and bravery." See the breakdown of Lara Croft's perks, provided by Behaviour Interactive on the official Dead by Daylight subreddit, below:
The announcement follows Dead by Daylight's most recent chapter, which was a crossover with Dungeons & Dragons and introduced a new map, a new killer (Vecna), and two playable survivors.
Lara Croft is also the latest character from a different video game franchise to join the roster as a survivor, as Dead by Daylight previously welcomed Alan Wake, Cheryl Mason from Silent Hill 3, and several Resident Evil characters like Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy. In addition to those franchises above, at the Dead by Daylight 8th anniversary stream last May, the company teased that the next chapter coming to the Dead by Daylight universe will be based on Konami's action-adventure series Castlevania.
