Just like many of the social media platforms that came before it, TikTok often acts as a public space for people to express themselves, figure things out, and maybe even grapple with concepts that up until now, they hadn't really thought about. The only difference is that in comparison to what came before, it is even more personal with most showing their full identities as they ponder the meanings of things in a lighthearted and memeable way.

That, or we could step away from the analysis and simply ride the wave of entertainment for as long as it happens.
