Before I tested the Yuka 1500, I favored the Mammotion Luba. It surpassed other mowers in reliability, stability, and consistency to a degree that I was shocked its design and features weren't being ripped off by other companies. The only problem—and I mean, truly, the only problem—is that it's a lot of machine for a smaller lawn. At the end of summer, Mammotion shipped me the solution to this problem, the Yuka 1500.

In fact, the Yuka 1500 improves on some aspects of the Luba, with a self-emptying feature and voice control. The Yuka can mow your lawn or just sweep it for leaves, mulch them at the same time, and then dump them wherever you please. It's so satisfying that it's become a drinking game where friends come over to watch while we drink around the fire pit.

The Yuka is only going to mow up to 1500m2, but that's still like .37 acres, and you can adjust the height and mowing pattern easily to achieve those precious mowing tracks. To train it on your lawn, you just walk it around the yard with the remote; it'll avoid obstacles within the area on its own.
