Happy holidays, Marvel fans! Since Christmas and the week after Christmas are such big days for going to the movie theater, it's kind of shocking that the MCU has never had a movie with a Christmas Day release. The closest thing they've done to a Christmas Day release is releasing Spider-Man: No Way Home on December 17th, 2021. That was a pretty brilliant move to get people back into the movie theater after they hadn't stepped foot into one for approximately two years. That choice was rewarded with a 1.952 billion dollar box office for a movie that cost 200 million dollars to make. That's not a bad Christmas present.
Outside of that one Spider-Man flick, there hasn't been a single movie in the MCU that has even come out in December. If you would rather watch Thor or Iron Man in theaters when it's cold outside than during the summer, these Marvel memes might suit your tastes.
