2024 has so much in store, and so much has already transpired. It's a leap year, an election year, and the summer Olympics are almost upon us! If those man-made moments weren't enough, the continental US has already experienced an eclipse and aurora borealis. Those natural phenomena are all well and good, but I am looking forward to Cicada season far more. I remember the summer of 2007 and how those cicadas could not shut up. It was a great time of death, rebirth, and carcasses! I know that not all animal lovers love bugs, but that could never be me. How could you be cynical and grossed out about a group of bugs that hasn't emerged from the ground since the 1800s? That's the coolest thing ever, and if you can't hang with cicadas, then you don't deserve these hilarious animal memes. Just kidding, animal memes are for everybody!
