She recently hosted a family Thanksgiving party at which she had money and jewelry stolen, and it turned out her nieces and nephews were the culprits. Her sister-in-law admitted she had put them up to it, leading to a falling out but despite this, she still sent across her children's Christmas lists with expectation of a contribution.
