If you're the so-called "black sheep" in your family, everything you do goes unnoticed. You made the soccer team? Your sister is the head of the robotics club. You baked mother dearest her favorite cookie for mother's day? Your sister booked her a spa day (which you are not invited to). You see what I'm saying? The woman in the story you're about to read has had enough of her parents' favoritism, that of which was never in favor of her.
The original poster (OP) gives us a background of her parents' favoritism toward her golden child sister throughout their childhood. She explains that the "last straw" occurred recently, when she announced her pregnancy. What should have been a joyous occasion quickly turned sour when her sister whines about how she should be able to get pregnant and give their parents grandchildren.
