(I mean I wasn't alive in New York City in the 90s, but I'm alive now to agree with Lexi).
It can seem like everything is so deadly serious nowadays. Sure, there is more than plenty to be upset about, but there is also plenty of reason to keep having fun. There are still friends to be made, parties to be attended, shows to see, and songs to dance to. I have a strong belief that fun should be a priority in everyone's lives. You need a little lightheartedness or else life isn't truly worth living. Put on a wig and a feather boa and I dare you to feel worse than you did before.
