You're pretty lucky. The very fact that we can hop in an automobile and go wherever we want is kind of sick. When you think about it, the invention of the car was monumental in travel inventions as the previous form of transport was a horse and buggy. I'm not sure I'm cool with a horse dragging my weight around, so cars are pretty rad.
Driving is less cool sometimes. You have the typical road rage-ridden drivers who always think they're in the right, you have daily rush hour traffic that makes you feel like you're never going to get home, and you have the price of gas. The three horsemen of the driving apocalypse. I can't really speak for drivers because I grew up in New York City and don't even have my permit. So, I guess all that I've written thus far is hearsay. Regardless, driving is freeing and hindering all at once—and I think that's beautiful.
