It's officially June. That means we're just a mere few days away from summer. The days are getting longer, and the sun is getting hotter, but at least it's light out most of the time we're at work, unlike winter, so it's not all bad. Spirits seem to be a bit higher as well. It must be because of seasonal change and getting to bask in more sunlight. Camaraderie is high; jokes are flying left and right - spring isn't such a bad time to work on a job site as a construction worker. Think about it: you could be stuck in a cubicle all day long. The hours might be tough, but at least construction workers get to be outside, enjoying the nice weather and getting some exercise in, as opposed to the office workers who spend all day cooped up, complaining about their backs and never seeing the light of day. People who went to college can sometimes look down on those who work in a trade when in reality, trade workers can easily make six figures without racking up tens of thousands in debt and get to live a more active lifestyle than most office folk. So, who really got the better end of the deal here?
