I'm a big believer in using storage furniture—that is, functional furniture that also hides shelving or other space inside—to keep my home organized without looking cluttered, so I'm always on the lookout for new pieces. The less of my small stuff you see when you come over, the happier I am. I plan to store my light couch blanket in here, and the ottoman will look so much sharper than a throw tossed over the back of the sofa.

Relatedly, I'm also picking up a smaller storage mirror than the one I already have (and have repeatedly raved about). The one I currently use is a full-length, lighted mirror that opens up to hold jewelry and larger items, like hairspray. This smaller one, which is marked down to $38.75 from $45.99, also opens up to reveal jewelry storage—but I plan to use it for small lotions and other trinkets and am going to add it to the gallery wall I've been creating in my living room. There are a few hard rules I follow when organizing my home. First, everything must be stored with similar items, and second, each category needs a designated space. Importantly, they must also be accessible. Under-sink racks like these, which have two shelves each and a variety of hooks, are perfect, especially because the bottom shelves pull out, making it easy to reach whatever you need whenever you need it and keep it all in order when you don't.
In that spirit, I'm also picking up this three-tiered rolling cart. I've been meaning to get one, since they're ideal for storing cleaning supplies that can then be schlepped easily around the home, and the pink version being on sale for $17.59 has me sold. (I told you I was committed.)
