Rank Group Plc reveals new board changes

The Rank Group Plc has appointed Mr. Christian Nothhaft as a non-executive director. Meanwhile, Mr. Chew Seong Aun is stepping down from the board as previously announced on December 2, 2024, Mr. Nothhaft has been the Executive Director and CEO of Guoco Group Limited since April 15, 2024.

Mr. Nothhaft holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Munich University of Applied Sciences in Germany and a Human Resources/Payroll Management qualification from the German Association for Human Resource Management (DGFP). He also participated in the Harvard University YPO Program. His professional experience includes strategic planning, business advisory, retail, digital transformation, ESG, as well as and compliance.

Nothhaft previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Watsons Personal Care Stores, China, and served as Managing Director for Watsons Wine and Fortress Hong Kong. Prior to these roles, he was the Regional Managing Director of Movenpick (Asia Restaurants Group). Currently, he serves as a non-executive director at Lam Soon (Hong Kong) Limited, a Hong Leong Group subsidiary listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is also an independent non-executive director and a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committees at DFI Retail Group Holdings Limited, listed on several global exchanges.
